Hello, world! 🌞Just checking back into social media after quite a hiatus. We’ve been busy on all fronts, focusing on crafting sessions with groups and teams—thank you for sharing our love and enthusiasm for making—as well as trying to wrap up projects (we’re so excited to share them with you)!One of the biggest changes we’ve had this year though is the addition of a new team member—the littlest one for now—but whose weight pulls nearly all of us into his tiny, yet mighty orbit.It’s been a few weeks now, and things aren’t quite back to schedule (I suspect it never will, and we’ll just have to work around naps and nursing for the foreseeable future). We’re thankful for the rest of our team, who’ve really pushed—through deadlines, delivering kits by the hundreds, conceptualizing activities, sourcing materials (how we miss physically going to suppliers), and just keeping on.So pardon the responses at odd hours, we just might be a wee bit overwhelmed. But we’re looking forward to getting back to workshop offerings that are open to the public, while coming up with fun, new activities for the groups and companies we’ve come to share our love of making with.It might be a bit more tough, but only good things ahead. ♥️ There’s so much more to find inspiration from, and work for, now more than ever.#stillhere #makerlifeupdate #teamcraftmnl ... With the rough ride the year and a half (not to mention the past five years) have been, sometimes we just want to hide away behind our desks, and busy ourselves with finishing craft projects.But we make for a reason, and we persist in making, always with the hope that what we create makes something better—be it someone’s day, or contributing to someone’s work or livelihood, or doing something for our larger communities.We stand together with our fellow artists, makers and small businesses, in directly impacting the outcome of our country—by individually voicing our opinions, and by making sure our voices are heard come what we hope to be a change in leadership and governance next year—always for the better.Please make sure to register to vote if you haven’t already.
