It’s Threadcraft Thursday! + Hocus Manila’s Screenprinted Textiles Show
Okay, so we ourselves get a bit confused between #ThreadCraftThursdays and #ThreadCraftThursday when using the hashtag. But either way, it’s still a fun Thursday evening at our studio–it ain’t a workshop as a number of you have asked–it’s more of a little threadcraft project support group, as we sometimes need a little hand-holding, cajoling, and a bit of stitchin’ and bitchin’ to get our projects done. There’s no entrance fee, just bring yourself, your threadcraft project, and grab a seat.
See you tonight? Unsheathe your hooks and needles at 6 PM. If you have any musician friends or if you’ve got a playlist you’re dying to share, bring them, and your playlists! Stitchin’ is always fun with tunes. Promise, we won’t judge your music choices.
Aaaaaand, we’re really excited for the opening of the year’s first show on our white wall–Screen Printed Textiles by Hocus Manila! Andrei and Sheina have been busy hand-printing textiles, whipping up special prints on Anthill Fabric Gallery’s colorful fabrics! The show opens tomorrow, and will run until February 27 at our studio. Come visit! We open at 1 PM tomorrow, and will be around until 8 PM (for your pre-Valentine’s dates). Our regular studio and shop hours are from 1-6 PM Tuesdays to Fridays.
