Meet our workshop manager: the woman behind the squeegee
And September began with Along the Spine, a bookbinding workshop led by none other than Craft MNL’s workshop manager, and Junk Studio queen, Nikki Abelardo! Yee-haw! 😀
The workshop was previously scheduled for August, but Nikki got sick, so we’ve scheduled some make-up sessions (our workshoppers were very understanding and concerned for Nikki’s health, so thank you!). On the day of the first make-up session itself though, Nikki was still recovering from an extracted tooth!
That day, our workshoppers tried three types of binding, and even got to embellish their journal covers through cutouts and heat transfer designs.
So a big whoopee for Nikki! 😀 Cheers to awesome craft sessions.
