About the Workshop

Stamp & Style: Shirt Printing with Marz Today Stamps, is a workshop where participants learn how to carve stamps with a craft knife, along with basic color techniques. By the end of this session, participants will have the opportunity to print their own shirts using the stamps they’ve created.
Sharp tools are involved. Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Workshop Coverage:
A. Introduction to basic stamp carving
B. Basic color technique
C. Shirt printing

Materials in each participants kit:
– A6 Carving blocks
– Shachihata Iromoyo Ink Pad
– Kneadable eraser
– Tracing paper
– Pattern sheet
– Craft Knife
– Plain White T-shirt

Shirt sizes needs to be confirmed at least 5 days before the workshop. If not, default shirt size is Large if not indicated during the sign up.

Marz Aglipay is a printmaker with years of carving eraser stamps under her belt. Her practice flourishes as she serves as the chief creative at Marz Today Studio. Using stamps, she captures the likeness of objects and people, chronicling her day-to-day life.
