Paper Pulp Painting Workshop

Beginner-friendly papermaking workshop with a focus on pulp-painting taught by Francine Lima of Tienda Wabas (@wabasissabaw).

This workshop aims to: 

● encourage the participants to engage their senses with papermaking, allowing their minds and bodies to experience the process; 

● allow participants to actively pursue mindfulness and self-exploration; and 

● teach pulp-painting as an expressive art practice that exercises creativity

Workshop output:

three pulp painting (exercise work, abstract, painting inspired)

Things to prepare:

• Comfy clothes, along with extra clothes as they will likely get a bit wet

Expect to learn a bit about traditional and modern papermaking
