Learn how to make mosaic pieces out of ceramic tiles! Learn how to literally piece together both functional and decorative items!  The following will be discussed:

• Planning mosaic designs
• Mosaic surface preparation
• Tile assembly and installation
• Grouting

It’s time to expand that mosaic repertoire and venture into applying this beautiful process to glass! In this relaxing session, you’ll get to use beautiful colored glass chips in making a stained glass mosaic candleholder, after which you’ll learn the basics of scented candlemaking, and get to bring home your very own hand-poured candle in the mosaic glass holder you just made!

Each participant gets to take home the candle they’ll pour in a 150g vessel. 

We will guide you in mending your clothes mindfully. Learn and apply different hand stitching techniques such as sashiko, patchwork, and basic embroidery, to give new life to your worn clothes in a way that expresses your authentic self.

What we’ll provide:

• Sewing materials
• Curated retasos (fabric scraps) from @barriostudios and @wear.amu
• A printed guide to slow stitching as a mindfulness practice

All materials are provided, but feel free to bring any fabrics that you’d like to incorporate in your project.

You may also bring worn clothes that you’d love to repair or refresh.

Open to adults and young adults 13 years old and above

Dive into the wonderful world of Pottery! This Basic Pottery workshop will be facilitated by the talented artist Iori Espiritu.

This is a half-day workshop focusing on handbuilding/ slabmaking techniques. You will learn how to make functional wares like mugs and/or plates and also your own ceramic pendants!

Up to 8 participants per session can be accommodated. Fee is PHP 3,000.00 inclusive of clay & tool use and firing fee. Works will be shipped after a month.

An Expressive Arts workshop for healing and relaxation using acrylic pouring with Liz Ranola

Express and process your emotions in a fun and safe way by creating your visual story through colors. This workshop is for you if you are:

• curious about integrating art and introspection in a relaxing and safe way
• in need of getting your thoughts together but are not sure where to start
• wanting to meet people who are welcoming and friendly and have a sense of community

Inclusions:

all materials– 1 canvas, various acrylic colors, pouring medium, popsicle stick for stirring

each participant should bring their own: wet wipes/rags for cleaning, apron or a shirt for painting 

*no art skills are required. Introverts (like me!) are very much welcome as this will be an intimate number of pax only

Learn more about leather and become familiar with the tools and techniques. It’s going to be a fun workshop with Edgar “Mindy” Alberto of BOLO Handcrafted Everyday Carry!

This class is a full day of learning how to craft with leather, starting at 9am-12nn for the first half, then lunch break. Class will continue at 1-4pm.
