Eraiza Ramos, the fiber artist behind Eleira’s Crochet, is a self-taught artisan who honed her skills through experience. She creates customized handmade pieces varying from home decorations to amigurumis to toddler apparels, and more.

Her journey started back in 2018 when crocheted baby clothes became trendy and piqued her interest. Despite not having any background in the craft, she spent her post partum months practicing the basic crochet stitches until she was able to make clothes for her baby.

After discovering her passion for the craft, she started a business called “Eleira’s Crochet”, a brand that is named after her daughter. Her works easily gained popularity among social media platforms and she amassed more than 40,000 followers.

Since then, Eraiza’s works have gained recognition in local publications and have been featured in TV programs such as “AHA!” and “Pera Paraan” of GMA, and “Gud Morning Kapatid” of TV5.

All her experiences from the past years led her in getting invited to compete at the Gawad Madiskarte in 2023, where she bagged awards for being an entrepreneur and a mom.
