About the Workshop
Learn how to make scented candles with your favorite scents! Get to make and take take home 3 candles of varied fragrances with soy wax. Learn how to blend your own fragrance, how to choose the perfect candle vessel, and how to choose wicks. This workshop is perfect for beginners and those looking to start their own candle-making business.
Wax Selection
Learn how to work with soy wax for candle-making. This workshop will also briefly introduce other types of waxand how to work with them, so you can choose the best for your candles.
Scent Blending
Discover how to blend different fragrances to create unique and appealing scents for your candles.
Vessel & Wick Prep
Understand the importance of candle vessel and wick selection and preparation for optimal burning performance in your candles.
Candle Safety
Learn how to make candles safely and how to properly use safety warning labels on all of your candles.
Session fee is Php 2,500 per person. Fees are inclusive of all materials, instruction, and tool use. Maximum of 10 students per session.
Antonette | Midnight Melts
Workshop Instructor
Antonette is a multi-passionate person, which is a fancy way of saying she has a lot of sidequests. She’s been making candles since 2022, when she learned how to make them (at Craft MNL!) to save money on her wedding giveaways. Aside from running her own candle brand (Midnight Melts), she also runs a recording studio with her husband (Big Baby Studios), and teaches Multimedia Arts part-time at the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde. She was a corporate communications professional for over 12 years.
