About the Workshop
In this class, you will learn different techniques of composing found poems and create your own poetry that connects with you in a personal way. Beyond rhyme or reason, the poetry collage offers insight and personal meaning, capturing emotions, describing your experiences, while allowing you to have fun with words and images.
The facilitator will introduce you to her post-pandemic project, the ‘Collage of Calm’ and share a process of creating found poetry as a way to check in with yourself and engage in creative play.
The collage process of reflective play is a great way to gather unexpected insights about your current life journey. You will also get to share and read your work in a supportive community.
All collage materials will be provided. You may also bring your own journal, if you wish.
The session will begin with a meditation and intention setting.
