During these trying times, folks are getting creative in using resources at hand to make personal protection equipment (i.e. face shields, face masks). Check out some of the tutorials they’ve put up online through this topic. Feel free to add any other helpful tutorials you’ve encountered.

Here’s a link to a tutorial and instructions on making simple sewn, double cloth masks, which are approved by the CDC.

You can modify to add a pocket to insert added filtration from a tissue or paper towel.

Whether using a machine, or by hand, you can try your hand at sewing a face mask! We used the pattern by the awesome @craftpassion —you can get the pattern at bit.ly/craftpassionfacemask in different sizes (I'm considered a tall Asian woman, and I prefer the men’s size mask)!
