Salu-Salo: A Creative Potluck for Communal Dreaming

Come as you are. Create as we can be.

A creative potluck is a gathering where attendees bring something to create with to the table. Together, we’ll explore the magic in coming together to create with no expectations or judgement.

• CREATE: It’s a fun way to explore creativity using the materials available at the table.
• CONNECT: It’s a safe space to connect and exchange stories with fellow crafters.
• PLAY: No overthinking, we’ll let our hands guide us in this activity.

What we’ll create: Mixed media postcards and/or mini tapestries inspired by our collective dreams.

What we’ll provide:

• A blank canvas and basic craft tools
• Access to a “craft buffet”
• Creative conversation starters

What you may bring:

• Art and crafts materials you find in your home, old postcards, magazines, fabric scraps, colored papers, scrapbooking stuff
• Snacks for sharing are welcome, but not required
