Assemblage @ Salinapo 2026 at Odd Cafe

Get ready for a fun, mixed-media art session, where you get to piece together your very own assemblage!

How does assemblage work?  Participants piece together their own work based on avaiable objects and materials.  A variety of art materials will be laid out in the center of the table like an “art buffet,” allowing participants to choose and mix different materials.  Participants are encouraged to experiment with different techniques such as:

• Gluing and collage
• Layering and arranging materials
• Adding beads, sequins, buttons, and other embellishments
• Painting or other decorative techniques

There is no fixed design or required output, so each participant can create something unique based on their own ideas.

A Mama Mary theme can be offered as an optional guide. Participants who want to incorporate the theme can use prepared Mama Mary cut-outs as part of their artwork.

The overall experience is about creative exploration, personal expression, and experimenting with different materials and techniques.

Fee is inclusive of all materials, instruction, and tool use.  A Matcha ni Maria and a hopia snack is also included in the fee.

Salinapo is organized by Alex and friends.
