Living Scripts: Buhay na Sulat ng Hanunuo, Buhid, Tagbanwa at Palaw’an

Do you know that there are indigenous writing systems which are still being used up to today?  These systems are found in the islands of Mindoro and Palawan.

The Hanunuo use their writing system to write poetry called the Ambahan on strips of bamboo which revolves around life, love and nature.

Learn more of these existing writing systems as we expand our knowledge beyond the Tagalog Baybayin.  Join us for this session with Sanghabi’s Executive Director, Leo Emmanuel Castro, as we explore, and interpret these living scripts.

The available session date for the month of February is:

Session fee is PHP 750.00, and is inclusive of hand-outs and a basic kit.
