About the Instructors

Screen Shot 2019-10-02 at 8.12.38 AM Adam Red is an emerging visual artist and designer who grew up in Cavite and Manila.  He finished a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at the Philippine Women’s University, and went under the New Design Graduates Training Program of the Design Center Philippines.

He is also the founder and creative director of INDIO, an indie visual arts merchandising brand that tells stories of Filipino indigenous people and their culture.

His exposure in traditional led him to mix Filipino motifs into his work, establishing an identity in an ever- globalizing world. His works reflect society as a work-in-progress; flawed, unfinished and chaotic. Rather than hide these imperfections his works explode with rips, drips, racks and shatters in celebration.

For him destroying is part of art.
