Soul-Searching, Tribe-Building is a theatre workshop designed specifically for teenagers (12-18 years) who are seeking to explore their own unique creative identity, and learn ways to apply the potentials of this creativity to a larger group dynamic.

The adolescent stage is a critical and delicate time in one’s growth and development, as it serves as the major transition from childhood to adulthood. It is a crucial phase wherein the adolescent begins to search for a sense of personal identity and independence, while at the same time, attempts to pursue a role that is to be expected, accepted, and validated by society (whew, it may seem rather intense right now, but we assure you–this is gonna be a fun and memorable workshop for your teen!).

Soul-Searching, Tribe-Building creates sessions that utilize theatre as a supportive, safe, yet experimental platform for teenagers to explore the balance between their individuality and their contributing role to the community. Using solo performance and ensemble physical theatre exercises and techniques, the module aims to enable its young students to:

  • Discover, experiment, and perform their artistic self
  • Maximize the potential gifts of this self by sharing them through the mode of theatre collaboration
  • Instill confidence, and create a memorable creative summer experience for your teen

Fee per participant is PHP 7,000.00 for this five-day workshop. A maximum of 20 participants will be allowed.

Session dates for June at our workshop space at Unit 302, 926 Pasay Road Condominium (Pamana-Languages Building), Arnaiz Avenue (Pasay Road, behind New World Hotel), Makati:
