About the Facilitator
Millicent, or Mimi as fondly called by her friends, is a full-time researcher at the Senate of the Philippines. Her journey to jewelry-making started when she decided to make a necklace for her friend because she cannot find that one perfect gift. To her shock, she enjoyed the process of making a jewelry piece thus she decided to make it as one of her hobbies. In order to support her new found hobby, she started selling some of her pieces online thus paving the birth of her first Instagram online shop (@kamilas4ambracelet). For almost a year now, Mimi continues to create jewelries that primarily uses resin as a medium.. She use resin to cast flowers and other objects such as memorabilia and transform them into timeless jewelry pieces.
