Get to experience creating artworks with watercolor paints made from both local and foreign materials (rocks and organic elements)!
This is a beginner to intermediate class to painting landscapes, so everyone’s invited to join! There will be painting demos and step-by-step activities for students to follow. Students are asked to bring two landscape photographs they want to use as reference for their paintings.
Expected Output Students will take home 2 artworks on paper or more aside from practice activities but they can make more paintings as much as they can.

Additional papers will be available for purchase but students are encouraged to bring their own.
Session fees for this class come in two options:
- P2,500 (complete materials included)
- P2,000 (bring your own paper and brushes)
Take-Home Materials Kit Students will each receive the ff:
– 3 watercolor brushes
– 2 sheets of cotton watercolor papers
– Natural paint samplers

About the Instructor
Kat Gosiengfiao is committed to understanding man’s relationship with the Earth. Her practice revolves around what encompasses making tools from the natural and bridging origin and meaning. She is currently doing research about the Philippine’s color palette by collecting samples of local color from different regions during her trips.
Kat Gosiengfiao graduated cum laude with a BFA from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She has been awarded grand prize for the 46th National Shell Arts Competition for the sculpture category and was recipient of the Artery Space Mentorship Program. She has since exhibited in many galleries in Metro Manila like Kaida Gallery, Sining Kamalig, and Galerie Stephanie. She runs a small paint-making business that uses natural, local raw materials.
