About the Instructors

450fb58e887e11e1b10e123138105d6b_7-1-2Andrei and Sheina both received Associate Degrees in Multimedia Arts at Mapua IT Center in Makati.

While working as a graphic designer for a small advertising company, Sheina would help create t-shirt designs and screen print with Andrei for their first [underground] business venture together, “Sell Out” shirts. The t-shirt making continued and evolved into making screen printed cards and even hand printed textiles by the yard which they sold at the Sunday Legaspi Market. When the opportunity to open up a shop came along, the screen printing was accompanied by custom restoration of bicycles (a new hobby they picked up along the way), and HocusNewoldbikes and Screenprints was born.

Andrei studied screen printing under Prof. Bernard Temporosa (Philippine Association of Printmakers), Danny Suerte (commercial screen printer) and Carrie Ann Plank (Academy of Art University, California).
