August is not only the month to celebrate the Filipino Language but also the month where the National Musical Heritage Week too!

If not, now is your chance to learn about our rich musical heritage! Learn about intruments found from the North to the South of our country like the tongatong, bungkaka, gangsa, kulintang, agong etc.
Learn the basics of community music making as we create our own indigenous music orchestra too.
As a bonus, each participant will be given a kubing and be taught how to play this carry anywhere philippine instrument.
Up to 12 participants can be accommodated. The workshop fee per participant is P 1,000.

About the Instructor
The workshop will be facilitated by leo emmanuel castro who has been conducting workshops on indigenous instruments for the last 20 years and is also a bamboo instrument maker.
