Spend a zen morning with SmartyPlants PH learning the Japanese art of Kokedama, literally meaning ‘moss’ (koke) and ‘ball’ (dama). Moss balls are a fun way to bring plants into the home and a bunch of them put together create unique string gardens!

Participants can expect to get their hands dirty by making natural vessels for plants.
At the end of the session, participants will have two variations of kokedamas.

Available session date for March at our Makati workshop space

About the Instructor

20150301_115159SmartyPlantsPH is the brainchild of Jamie Lyn Arcega – a wife, mother, and writer who overcame her fear of plants by creating little landscapes in almost every container she could get her hands on.

Other uses for her hands include gift wrapping, styling tablescapes, tickling the ivories (and her children!). She also devours books and chocolate (and pretends that the latter also goes to her brain).
