Learn how to make your own mini mushroom plushie by using the Japanese technique known as “amigurumi” or the art of crocheting dolls or stuffed toys.

The toy is perfect for several purposes — a key chain or a rucksack/bag charm, a shelf sitter or table décor, a lightweight travel buddy, a pin cushion, Christmas Tree or Halloween hanging, stocking stuffer, and even a learning tool for kids.

During the workshop, the participants will learn how to do several skills essential to amigurumi-making such as

– working a magic ring
– stitching in spiral
– counting and marking stitches
– increasing and making the invisible decrease
– stuffing

The session fee of P1,900 will include 1 pattern, acrylic yarn cakes of different colors, 1 crochet hook, polyester fiberfill, buttons, plus lot of useful tips and best practices to give your amigurumi project a more polished look.

Tools such as scissors, tapestry needles will be provided but not to be taken home.

This workshop is suitable for beginners with a basic knowledge of crochet.

Slots are limited to up to eight participants.

About the Instructor

She is the creator, designer, and owner of the shop Creative Chaos. She also likes to dabble in mixed media, art journaling, and upcycling.
